Fukuoka Hotel Discount 2026:
Up to 50% Kyushu Travel Support from October

Planning a trip to Fukuoka later in 2026? Japan has announced the Kyushu Recovery Support Discount, a tourism support program covering eligible travel and accommodation products across Kyushu.

Fukuoka support rate Up to 50%
1-night support limit Up to ¥20,000
Program starts Oct. 1, 2026+
QUICK SUMMARY Eligible Fukuoka travel and accommodation products may receive support of up to 50%.

However, Fukuoka has not yet announced its final booking start date, participating booking platforms or detailed eligibility rules.

What is the Kyushu Recovery Support Discount?

The Japan Tourism Agency introduced the Kyushu Recovery Support Discount to help restore tourism demand following the 2026 Kumamoto earthquake.

The program covers eligible travel and accommodation products involving at least one overnight stay in Kyushu.

For Fukuoka, the announced support rate is 50% of eligible travel or accommodation costs.

Example
If an eligible accommodation product costs ¥30,000 per person, a 50% support rate could theoretically reduce the eligible amount by ¥15,000, subject to the final program rules and booking conditions.

For a one-night accommodation-only product or an eligible one-night transport-and-hotel package, the maximum support amount announced by the Japan Tourism Agency is ¥20,000 per person per trip.

Important for international travelers
As of September 17, 2026, Fukuoka Prefecture has not yet published its detailed reservation start date, participating online travel agencies or complete eligibility conditions. The national announcement does not currently specify a nationality restriction, but international travelers should not assume that every overseas booking or every OTA reservation will automatically qualify.

Planning a Fukuoka trip from October 2026?

Fukuoka is included in Japan’s Kyushu Recovery Support Discount, with an announced support rate of up to 50% for eligible travel and accommodation products.

The nationwide framework begins with stays from October 1, 2026, and the announced maximum support for an eligible one-night accommodation product is ¥20,000 per person.

However, Fukuoka’s exact booking start date, participating travel agencies and online booking platforms have not yet been officially announced.

For that reason, the Trip.com hotel link on this page is provided primarily for checking and comparing current Fukuoka hotel prices. A hotel appearing on Trip.com does not by itself mean that the booking will qualify for the government support program.
